After further investigation, we have found a fix for this bug and it will
be included in the next release. This bug will likely manifest itself for
anyone using Python 2.5 or greator with a 64 bit OS on their analysis
station. So it was related to the processor after all ;). With Python
2.5, they changed the way Python native types are stored and subsequently
the behavior of unpack also changed.
I would especially like to thank Jamie Levy and her students for their
help fixing this bug!
