So in answer to your question, I believe vmware changed their memory
storage state when they stopped using .vmem (which was just a raw ram
image) and went to .vmss. I know someone was working on writing
address space for vmss, but unfortunately this early in the morning I
don't remember who. It's something we need to look into, so thanks
for bringing this to our attention...
