The image is was taken from an OS running on vmware.
If you want, I
can give you the image.
If you don't mind that would be the quickest way for me to troubleshoot
the problem. At least we would have the same frame of reference and the
same data. If you prefer not to make the image public, feel free to send
me an email offlist.
